Our Mission
We want everyone to have an opportunity to play a competitive sport. Power wheelchair users are no different, but unfortunately, because of their disabilities, they face limited opportunities.
LCPS recognizes this under-served community and is dedicated to highlighting the possibilities of individuals with disabilities and facilitating the growth of power wheelchair soccer in Kentucky and Southern Indiana.
Power soccer is vitally important because it completely changes the lives of every participant. Individuals who are extremely dependent on others for daily living are no longer sitting on the sidelines. Instead, they are performing in the game independently.
Gain Independence
Power Soccer leaves friends and family on the sideline so you can participate in a sport all your own.
Build Self-Confidence
Learn the value of hard work in a team sport environment. Strengthen social skills and foster a sense of belonging.
Join a Community
Power soccer is more than just a sport. It is also a supportive group of people who are willing to share life experiences.
